Wally has a mind of his own, and this morning he had very little interest in food.  He is either sleep deprived or depressed from his recent birthday.  I finally lifted his head, put his bowl in between his front paws and said “good boy” until he was in full breakfast mode.  It was too cute not to document.

Why did this concept never cross my mind before?  Thanks to poppytalk, I saw this tub caddy which you can either buy on Etsy or get crafty and create yourself.  

I was in Milwaukee over the weekend for my final wedding dress fitting and also wandering about town with my sister shopping when we were supposed to be doing wedding stuff. Oops.  I went into Shoo for the first time after walking past it on every trip I make there and I finally went in.  From the outside, I wasn’t expecting to find a great deal that would fit my style.  I was proved wrong.  I found these shoes that felt comfortable enough to live in and that I can’t get out of my head.

I subscribe to www.dailycandy.com and overall I’ve been really pleased.  In the past couple of months that I’ve been a reader, it has introduced me to two of my new favorite things.  One is Nan Lawson. She was featured the other day and I have already purchased two of her prints — one of which I have posted.  I might dedicate an entire room to her sketches.
